ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES FOR FORCE MAIN REHABILITATION
This is a capacity improvement project to improve the reliability of the sewer service in the
project area by upgrading the existing force main to gain capacity in the existing system.
The project includes replacement of approximately 2,670 linear feet of 8-inch asbestos cement,
sewer force main. The replacement pipe shall be 12-inch. There are two separate sections. The
first section is approximately 1,440 feet beginning at Garfield Avenue and running north to
approximately Conger Avenue. The second section is 1,230 feet beginning at Smyth Landing
(located at 2001 West Bay Drive, NW) and running north to the West Bay Pump Station. (See
