EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
The County of Fresno on behalf of the Department of Social Services (DSS) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide CalWORKs funded services that will augment and/or complement the current delivery of the CalWORKs Employment Services Program to all eligible CalWORKs recipients in Fresno County for the period of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
The following are seven (7) different components of services being requested:
1)Case Management for Employed Participants
2)Vocational Skills Training
3)Vocational Skills Training for Special Needs Participants
4)Vocational English-As-A-Second Language (VESL) Training
5)Job Search/Job Readiness for Hard-to-Place Participants
6)Employment Transportation Services
7)Other services designed to increase the CalWORKs Work Participation Rate
