ELL Services (English Language Learners)
a) Bidder is to provide translation services for Community Action in all languages they are
currently fluent in, with the main focus on Spanish. (The bidder is to specify in the Bid
Proposal Sheet or attach documents indicating which languages they are able to provide
translation services for.)
b) Above translation services include but are not limited to: Translation of documents and
forms, over the telephone, face-to-face translation with families where needed (this could
include travel to our county offices and attending and translating at Education and
Childrens Services family meetings and Policy Council).
c) Community Action will reimburse selected bidder for mileage to and from approved
appointments and meetings at the current mileage rate. This will be based on the bidders
assigned workstation.
d) In addition to translation services, bidder is to provide an analysis of the programs needs in
relation to translation and ELL services. A report containing this analysis is due upon
completion of the 42 weeks of services.
