The Court has initiated a project to procure and implement a new court management environment that will create an integrated environment for managing and reporting court information. This environment will facilitate the establishment of a statewide process for exchanging key justice information throughout the justice community. A major factor in achieving this goal is having a case management component capable of collecting key justice information. The Judiciary’s current legacy court management systems are strained beyond their capabilities to generate and transfer needed court data in an efficient and timely manner. The Judiciary currently operates five major legacy court management systems and 22 significant court applications. As a result of inefficiencies with having outdated and disparate court management systems, the Judiciary has decided to replace its existing systems.
