The purpose of this project is to remove and replace designated electrical system components within buildings 1, 5, and 9 at the Jimmy Carter Plant Materials Center (JCPMC).

The scope of the work for this project is to remove and replace designated electrical system components to provide for the work needs of the JCPMC staff while meeting current NEC (National Electrical Code), and local building codes to improve safety.


Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision to perform the removal and installation of the electrical system components at the JCPMC. All work shall be completed by a licensed electrician. Contractor shall be responsible for attaining all applicable permits. All electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrician. All installation, wiring, and electrical connections shall comply with manufacturer's recommendations, recognized industry standards, and national and/or local codes for completing electrical work. Areas surrounding work area must be protected from damage.


The location of work is the Jimmy Carter Plant Materials Center, 295 Morris Drive Americus, Ga. 31719.


The following summary of work is for general information and is not intended to include and describe every feature or item required to complete the installation of the electrical components. It is expected and encouraged that the contractor will attend the site visit to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the conditions existing on site.
