ELECTRICAL UPGRADES TO WATER TOWER
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:
PROJECT TITLE: ELECTRICAL UPGRADES TO THE WATER TOWER AT THE U.S. COAST GUARD TRAINING CENTER, CAPE MAY, NEW JERSEY
Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, services, transportation, supervision, and all operations necessary for Electrical Upgrades to the Water Tower at the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center (TRACEN) Cape May, New Jersey located in Cape May County. Davis Bacon Wage Rates shall apply.
Major work items include but are not limited to:
Demolish abandoned whip antenna; demolish rigid steel conduit and wire;
provide new conduit, boxes, and wire; provide new conduit supports;
paint conduit and supports where indicated; mobilization, demobilization and clean up;
supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, labor and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work.
Period of Performance shall be 75 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed.
All work shall be performed in accordance with the USCG specifications, drawings, provisions, clauses and the terms and conditions which will be provided when all Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation document files become available for public download on or after 13 NOVEMBER 2014 exclusively from the internet by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at: http://www.fbo.gov. If solicitation files do not appear on that date, please check back daily. The date set for receipt of offers is approximately 12 DECEMBER 2014. These dates are estimated and may change.
