Dworshak Dam Transformer Deluge Piping Reroute
US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is seeking small business sources for a construction project titled: Dworshak Dam Transformer Deluge Piping Reroute.
The work is located at Dworshak Dam in Clearwater County, Idaho. This will be a firm-fixed-price construction contract. Construction magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, and the associated small business size standard is $33,500,000.
This sources sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information (items one through five) will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement.
1) A list of current or past projects demonstrating technical experience with work of a similar nature to that listed in the Summary Scope of Work. For each project submitted, provide a brief narrative statement of the work your firm accomplished, your firm's role in the project, the dollar value and the completion date (or projected completion date).
2) A reference list for each of the projects submitted in # 1) above. Include the name, title, phone number and email address.
3) A statement of your firm's bonding capacity.
4) A statement of your firm's business size and type (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), woman-owned).
5) Cage Code and DUNS number.

SUMMARY OF SCOPE OF WORK:
The work required will consist of furnishing and installing the following:
1. Approximately 40 ft. of 10 inch diameter steel pipe, two elbows, one-10 inch diameter butterfly valve, and pipe supports.
2. Core drilling two 12 inch diameter holes, one through a 3 foot thick reinforced concrete floor and the other through a 2 foot thick reinforced concrete wall.
This work will be conducted inside the Dworshak Dam powerhouse located near Orofino, ID.
