The Superconductive Electronics Group in the Quantum Electromagnetics Division (687) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires a two-channel amplifier with at least 50 GHz of bandwidth for the development of the Josephson Arbitrary Waveform Synthesizer (JAWS) system. This amplifier system will be used to drive broadband waveforms into NIST superconductive devices.  Currently, NIST is using either single amplifier or amplifiers with small bandwidth, none of which is consistent with implementing a dissemination system for ac voltages.  By implementing a dual-channel 50 GHz bandwidth amplifier, the system can be both optimized for performance and have compactness to allow system implementation.
