Dryer Exhaust Fans
The Carville Job Corps Center, a federal funding training facility located at 5465 Point Clair, Carville, LA 70721, is currently soliciting writing bids for a licensed electrician to re-established the original design intent of the systems, which appears to have been to operate the mechanical exhaust fans in response to devices that sense dryer operation, or re-wire the controls of the exhaust fans such that the fans operate whenever the laundry room light switch is turned on (or some other scheme based on laundry operations). Schematics for the fan motor are available at exhaust.com. Schematics for the EBC-12 modulating fan control located in each laundry room are available at enervex.com.
All quotes must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Department by July 28, 2014 by 4:00 p.m. Quotes received after the deadline and/or without all requested documentation will not be considered. Bid must be good for 90 days, after submissions. No partial bids will be accepted.
Vendor must submit a written bid on company letterhead to include scope of work CJCC0721-1 at the top of each page. Vendor must provide licenses for doing business in the State of Louisiana, all employee licenses required for performing work in the state of Louisiana, certificate of liability insurance and list of references if no past experience with Carville Job Corps Center.
