Drive Less Save More & Rideshare Marketing
ODOT intends to contract with the Consultant for Services in connection with the current
Drive Less Save More ("DLSM"), campaign, which was established in March 2006 in the
Portland Metropolitan area project. ODOT recognizes the success of the DLSM campaign in
the Portland area and has decided to expand the campaign statewide. Also, ODOT is
currently in the process of implementing a Statewide Rideshare Database (SRD) program.
The current strategy is for Oregon to partner with the State of Washington and the State
of Idaho in the implementation of a single automated SRD to be used in all three states
(this automated system is currently in place in Washington and Idaho). The automated
application currently being used in Washington and Idaho is called Rideshareonline.com.
