Drill Rig Rental

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY.
The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, requires rental of a PowerROC T35E-02 Crawler Drill with Tier 4i Engine (Crawler Drill), or equal, with a training Technician. The required rental period for the Crawler Drill is four (4) months. Reclamation also requires a training Technician for one (1) day in order to train Reclamation personnel proper operation of the Crawler Drill. The Crawler Drill must have a dust collection system, single operator capability, 4i engine, onboard air compressor; a complete listing of specifications will be included in the solicitation.
This posting shall not be considered as a request for quotes, nor as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of the contractor's response to this posting or the Government's use of such information.
No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement. Data submitted in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis will not be returned.
Any determination by the Government how to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining the appropriate procurement strategy for this requirement.
