Drayage Services
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation/synopsis reference number is VA261-14-Q-0824 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-74 effective July 1, 2014. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. No partial quotes will be considered. Requirement:
The Department of Veterans Affairs Pacific Island Healthcare System (VAPIHCS) intends to establish a single Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) consisting of a base year and 4 option years for the purchase of drayage, shipping, and storage services for the Hawaiian Islands. Please reference the attached document titled "RFQ Drayage Services" for any and all information pertaining to this BPA. All specifications and requirements must be adhered to as specified in the document or offers will be considered non-responsive. Pricing shall be provided for the base year. Revised pricelists will be solicited every six months. This BPA has a dollar limitation of $150,000.00 for each service call. This BPA does not have a minimum purchase requirement. The Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under this BPA.
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 484210 and the small business size standard is $25.5 million in annual revenue.

Effective July 29, 2012, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) to be eligible to receive government contracts. Responsible sources may submit a quote which, if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.
