Dormitory and Restroom Improvements
The project scope will include the following work: Architectural: renovation of existing resident restroom finishes and plumbing fixtures (metal studs and gypsum board, waterproofing, tiling/painting, toilet and bathaccessories, toilet partitions); misc work as required by mechanical, plumbing, and electrical system work. Mechanical (including plumbing): replacement and upgrades to the building's main HVAC equipment; replacement of steam piping and chilled water piping; replacement of fan-coil AC units in congregate restrooms; replacement of existing pneumatic controls systems with new DDC control systems; installing new DDC controls on primary mechanical equipment; replacement of existing plumbing fixtures (in existing locations). Electrical: replacement of main electrical equipment, motor controls, panelboards, and gear; replacement of branch circuit wiring (conduit to remain); replacement of existing lighting fixtures, installation of new switch circuits. The general Construction Budget for the project is approximately: $1,440,000.00 to $1,632,000.00
