Domestic Violence Program Capital Improvement Projects.
The NM Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) will be allocating up to $2,000,000 to applicants that qualify as governmental entities willing to enter into a formal agreement with a domestic violence service provider.
Governmental entities are, for example, county, municipal or tribal governments, state higher education institutions and local education agencies.
These funds are for domestic violence programs capital expenditures to maintain, repair and renovate facilities to ensure consistent domestic violence service delivery and to plan, design, construct, equip and furnish additional domestic violence shelters statewide.
