Document Management and Web Content Management System Solution
The District is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the purpose of purchasing an enterprisewide Document Management System and Web Content Management System that provides a high
level of integration and provides imaging, document management, workflow as well as web content
management and web commerce in a single system. The District has a vision that the successful
vendor will provide a common Digital Asset Management platform to support both systems and will
assist District staff in effectively and efficiently managing the wide array of digital assets across the
organization, mitigating the need for redundant file tracking and storage. The system must be
scalable, provide enhanced interoperability, and integrate with systems already in place at the
District. The District’s technology direction is to pursue an open environment and therefore the
appropriate hardware configuration for the proposed solution and connectivity to existing hardware
should be included.
