Document Imaging System Solution
The purpose of this RFP and any resulting contract award is to solicit proposals for a Document Management Imaging and workflow solution that will integrate with the existing DATATEL, GUI client/server, browser based web and legacy applications (using terminal emulator) which will move Alamance Community College (ACC) towards a paperless filing system. The Imaging Application must have the capability to scan documents, microfilms, electronic documents, and other forms of media that can be accessed in real-time mode from DATATEL and other common MS Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, etc. The Application must be flexible in configuring the capture and indexing to accommodate future needs. Viewing will be allowed in business objects such as Word, PDF, spreadsheets, email messages, attachments, faxes, etc. as captured and managed in the original format. These business objects will be retrievable from user desktops. The Imaging Application will provide a Server Platform and allow a system administrator to manage the application. The Imaging Application must also include user training, upgrades, patches, functionality, and renewable licenses.
