DoN LAIRCM Production Contract
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement for hardware procurement, engineering (hardware/software), program management, configuration management, test and other support as required for the AN/AAQ-24(V)25, Department of the Navy (DoN) Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasure (LAIRCM) system. The hardware procurement includes:
• Control Indicator Units,
• Signal Processors,
• Infrared Missile Warning System Sensors,
• Advanced Threat Warning Sensors,
• Multi-Role Electro-Optical End-To-End Test Sets,
• Guardian Laser Transmitter Assemblies, and
• Guardian Laser Transmitter Assembly JPACs (shipping containers).
This effort is being solicited on a sole source basis under NAVAIR solicitation N00019-14-R-6000 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Electronic Systems Sector, Land and Self Protection Systems Division (NGSC), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. NGSC is the sole developer, producer, and depot repair facility for the DoN LAIRCM system used by the United States Government.
