J2LMR Maintenance and Repair
The Air Force intends to solicit proposals for a firm-fixed price contract for Land Mobile Radio Maintenance and Repair services, including but not limited to the following: Furnishing of all labor, plant, equipment, permits, fees and material in support of radio frequency systems and land mobile radio repair and maintenance services. The Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Navy have partenered and formed the Japan Joint Mobile Radio (J2LMR) Solution. We require a vendor to maintain, manage, and monitor the government owned solution throughout mainland and Okinawa, Japan. We also require that the same vendor maintain, manage, and monitor the outdoor giant voice system at Kadena Air Base.
