Direct Metal Deposition (DMD) 405D Machine Repairs, Upgrades, Maintenance
This is a combined sources sought/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
A sole source procurement is contemplated with DM3D Technologies, LLC, 2350 Pontiac Rd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326-2461. The Government anticipates procurement of the Upgrades, Repairs, and Maintenance to the Direct Metal Deposition (DMD). DM3D is the original manufacturer of the DMD 405D, owns the technical data package (TDP), and is the only known qualified source to perform this effort. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the Contract Specialist, Michael Gross, at michael.e.gross28.civ@mail.mil which will be considered by the agency.
