Digitizer with high performance GPS
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for the following: Qty 2; MSDD-3000-pps-R 30-3000MHz RF Digitizer with high performance GPS P/N MSDD-3000-TFN. This requirement is sole sourced to Midwest Microwave Solutions, 2000 Progress Drive, Hiawatha, Iowa 52233 due to This product will be used as a part of existing GOTS system that incorporates a digitizer, controller, and software that provides a unique combination of functionality. Functional requirements of the digitizer include: wide-band tuner and GPS enabled-digitizer in single unit. The intended GOTS system has software and hardware that was designed and written to interface with this particular digitizer, therefore derived architecture interface requirements are also present for this product. No other unit exist that can be used without incurring significant redesign efforts or sacrificing performance of the existing architecture.
