Digital Imaging Services for Library Material
The University Library has a need for digitization of printed texts, typescripts and microfilmed newspapers. Several collections of material will be selected, scanned, OCR'd, and XML encoded and made available online. The University Library is seeking a vendor(s) to perform the digital conversion (scanning), text conversion (OCR), metadata creation (directory structuring, file naming, header information, indexing XML encoding), the creation of access derivatives, printing facsimiles and binding services.
