IAW FAR 5.203(a), this posting serves as notice that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, the Raytheon Company, 1001 Boston Post Road, Marlborough Ma 01752-3770 (hereafter referred to as "Raytheon"), under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)). Specifically, AFLCMC/HBAK intends to award a new ID/IQ contract to provide Sustainment support of the Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) systems currently produced and fielded. Contract award is expected within the next nine months and the period of performance is seven years after contract award date. The ordering period is anticipated to be six years and eight months. The ID/IQ ceiling price is estimated to be $90,000,000.00. The contract types include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursement (CR), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Time and Materials (T&M).

This notice neither constitutes a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.


An AFLCMC Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offers, potential offers, and other for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should address their concerns, issues, disagreements and /or recommendation to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Richard Williams, who can be contacted by email at richard.williams.66@us.af.mil, for resolution. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, will be included in this acquisition's contract. The AFLCMC Ombudsman is Lt.
