Digital 911 Voice Recorder System
- This RFP had a pre-bid event.
The proposed system must be capable of recording both telephone and radio
traffic and making both sets of recordings available through a single application.
B. The proposed system’s server must utilize Windows Server 2008 or later.
C. If a relational database management system (RDBMS) is used in the application,
that RDBMS must be Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or later. This requirement does
not prohibit a system design which does not utilize a RDBMS.
D. All server components of the proposed system should be mounted in a single
chassis.
E. The 9-1-1 telephone system is in the process of being upgraded to support
Next Generation 9-1-1 features. The recording system must be able to support
recording appropriate to these features. The proposal must explain how the
proposed system meets this requirement in detail.
