Coordinate all aspects of a one day (9:00am 4:00pm) conference for American Indians/Alaska Natives in the Sacramento Area for June 20, 2009.



Coordinate all vendors both Native artists and diabetes care companies.



Create an interesting and inspiring agenda promoting the Indian Health Service Standards of Diabetes Care and Prevention Standards of Care (may be located on the National IHS website).



Arrange and fund all flights, ground transportation, hotel accommodations and incidentals for out of town speakers/diabetes specialists and faculty.
