The Department has installed ITS field devices, including Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, and Vehicle Detection Stations (VDS) as part of the Intelligent Transportation (ITS) System. Devices are located statewide. Additional units will be constructed and added during the life of this contract. It is the intent of this contract to create a preventative maintenance contract for existing and new ITS devices and an on-call support service contract to provide services ranging from minor maintenance to total reconstruction of an existing installation. Bidders must be able to mobilize forces on a statewide basis to provide the requested support and services.
