Development of an Online Application and Database
The purpose of this Request For Proposal (RFP) is to invite prospective vendors to submit a proposal to supply a bilingual (English and French) online application and database (“System”) to the Council. This System will support delivery of the Council's GREEN UP – Building Performance Program. It will be designed to collect, organize, analyze and report on the environmental design and performance data of existing buildings across Canada. The Council is currently hosted on a Windows 2003(R2) VM (Virtual Machine) with IIS 6, .NET 3.5 and Cold
Fusion v.11. The current database, also hosted on a Windows 2003(R2) VM, runs MSSQL Express 2005. A third
VM, also Windows 2003(R2), allows access to the VLAN via Remote Desktop and Terminal Server.
