Development of a new Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) Internet website engine (Content Management System)
The CBSS Secretariat seeks a service-provider that will develop a new CBSS website engine and creative
content management solution (that would allow for direct document imports from word for instance)
consisting of two interacting parts: administrative (internal, for website administration involving
placing/removing/revising information and documents) and presenting (an external one, which will be
accessible for everyone that will visit the website).
The CBSS website, which will be coordinated by the CBSS Secretariat, shall provide the basis for a one-
stop-shop that gives an overview of the activities and projects implemented by the CBSS and its
cooperation partners. Thus, ensuring a better understanding of and inter-connection between the
current wide range of activities taking place in the Baltic Sea Region.
The CBSS plans to redevelop its web site so as to improve it in terms of technology, design and the look
so as to increase its attractiveness, user friendliness and to better suit the growing demand for
information from the Internet at large. To this end a tender in three parts is being launched, of which
one part deals with the development of a new CBSS Internet website engine (ref. AJ/08/11/3000/1)
another part with the development of a new CBSS website visual design (ref. AA/08/11/3000/2), and
the final part with the future hosting of the new CBSS website (ref. AJ/08/11/3000/3), respectively.
