Development of Community College Website

The College will be accepting proposals for the redesign and development of a new college
website. The winning proposal will present ideas on how a web design firm (provider) will assist the
college in going from the “conceptual phase” through completion and implementation – including the
handing off of day-to-day content management to college web professionals.
The college is further compelled to accept multiple proposals on this project due to its crucial
nature as a primary communication tool for the college across many platforms – faculty/student/alumni
recruser interfacetment/admissions, academic, marketing, events/community/fund-raising and more.
Moving forward, the college intends to increase its electronic and technology-based communications,
making this a key project, and one that will demand close attention to design, particularly to a new
USER INTERFACE, as well as the ability to incoroprate new and emerging technologies beyond just
“widget” placement.
This RFP outlines the evaluation criteria that SUNY Sullivan will follow for the assessing of all
proposals/providers.
