Development and production of website for the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a suitable web development contractor to
undertake the content and functionality mapping, redesign, redevelopment and production of the Water
Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council's home page, http://www.wsscc.org. Working in close collaboration
with the Communications staff of WSSCC, the web development contractor will specifically undertake
tasks to:
Evaluate and map existing and needed content and functionality based upon WSSCC's organizational
needs, user requirements, staff capabilities and budget
Design and develop a web site consistent with modern standards and requirements, which clearly and
effectively conveys the mission, objectives and operations of WSSCC, and which is consistent with
current profiling and branding
Incorporate the possibility to further develop and enhance the design and site operation as future
needs dictate, and
Evaluate the integration of existing hardware and infrastructure for membership database
management and electronic communications dissemination tools.
