Developing and Implementing Systems of Care
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is open to non-profit or governmental organizations that provide health care or education to low-income pregnant women/women contemplating pregnancy and can unite multiple providers and agencies to develop integrated systems of care that address pregnant women’s oral health. Applicants may include but not limited to: community health centers; Women Infants & Children (WIC), Healthy Start, and Early Head Start programs; obstetrical or dental care providers and organizations; hospitals, etc. Applicants must be committed to partnering with CT Health, statewide agencies and researchers in learning what discourages and/or motivates low-income pregnant women to participate in oral health care and identifying strategies to address these findings.
