This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This procurement is full and open competition.

This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the procurement of a Detector Suite containing Energy Dispersive and Wavelength Dispersive x-ray Spectrometers (EDS and WDS) and an Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) detector per the attached Specifications.

The NAICS Code and business size standard for this procurement are 334516 /1000 respectfully.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. However, any award from this RFQ will require the potential vendor to be certified within the Online System for Award Management (SAM) and Online Representations and Certifications Application Databases prior to award.

Any product delivery to MSFC, Central Receiving, Building 4631, Saturn Rd, MSFC, AL 35812 shall be specified as FOB Destination.

Any questions shall be sent via email to Betsy Ledbetter at elizabeth.s.ledbetter@nasa.gov only, no phone inquiries. All questions must be submitted by 12 PM CST Friday, June 25, 2018.

Offers for the EDS-WDS-EBSD Detector Suite per the attached Specifications are due by 5:00 PM CST, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 to Betsy Ledbetter, ARCS, at elizabeth.s.ledbetter@nasa.gov, and must include solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center with proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.

Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (Jan 2017), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference.

FAR 52.212-4 (Jan 2017), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable.

FAR 52.212-5 (Jan 2018), Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable and are attached to this solicitation.

Technical acceptability will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide the item that meets the Government's requirement.

Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3 (Jan 2017), Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. The provision may be
