Desktop Remote Control Utility
Desktop Support Division is looking for a tool that will function as a desktop remote control utility with the following minimum requirements:
Must be able to Port forward through NAT firewalls automatically. Providing easy access to harder to support areas.
Must be easy to deploy. Small file size easy tosend to workstations and install in minimal time. Must be secure. User name and password to be able to remote control a workstation at a remote location.
Must be able to provide encryption between the 2 workstations.
Must be able to initiate file transfers.Must be able to switch sides of view. User can watch Tech or Tech can watch user for easier troubleshooting.
Must be unobtrusive and easy to use. The software will reside on the machine for future use and needs to be able to function without interfering with the states existing applications.
Must be responsive in speed and have the ability to function in low bandwidth areas easily.
Must be cost effective.
