Design-Build Global ASNT Increment 1, Building 470, March ARB CA
The 452 Operational Contracting Office at March Air Reserve Base intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a firm-fixed price construction contract for design-build global aircrew strategic network terminal Increment 1, Building 470, (PDPG 17-0110) at March ARB CA. The statement of work requires 35%, 95% and 100% design submittals, 2.5 ton split air conditioner, modification to existing walls, installation of power to new telecom equipment and power to relocated equipment in basement, installation of antenna platform, new flooring, modification to ceiling, update engineering drawings, and calculations and engineering studies.
This acquisition is set-aside for women owned small business.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 236220 with a size standard of $36,500,000.
The magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
Contract period of performance is 160 calendar days.
The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.
In accordance with FAR 36.103 sealed bid procedures will be utilized for award of a contract.
It is anticipated that the IFB will be issued electronically on or about 10 July 2019, on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website https://www.fbo.gov, with a bid due date tentatively scheduled for 8 August 2019 at 1000 PST. All amendments, questions and answers, etc. will be posted at FBO. No paper copies of the solicitation will be provided. After the IFB is posted, interested parties are cautioned to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments.
NOTE: In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and FAR 52.204-7, entitled "System for Award Management", Prospective contractors shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Recommend registering immediately at https://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for a timely award.
A formal site visit is scheduled for 17 July 2019 at 0900. Parties interested in attending site visit are instructed to complete the attached pass information sheet and to fax the completed form to 951-655-5753, no later than 1500 on 11 July 2019. After faxing completed form call 951-655-5761 to confirm receipt. Only individuals vetted and cleared by the 452nd Security Forces Squadron will be allowed on March ARB.
