Design of a Prototype Village Clinic for Small Communities in Alaska
OVK is requesting a proposal from consulting teams that identifies their qualifications to undertake the
architectural and engineering design services required for the design of a small clinic for the Village of
Kasaan, a community of 60 residents on southern Prince of Wales Island located in southern Southeast
Alaska.
The project is unique, since the Kasaan clinic design will also serve as a prototype for other village
clinics which may be funded across the State of Alaska by the Denali Commission and/or other rural
health service funding agencies.
