The Organization is seeking resources to design its proposed store as per the attached site and floor plans. (The plans provided are prepared to better identify the opportunity; the actual store layout/ orientation/ coverage etc will be determined as part of the work).
Responses from consulting design firms to this Request for Proposals will be
evaluated to assist the organization in determining the design team for this new store.
Additional projects or design efforts may be offered to the Proponent upon the
completion of this work.
As a sustainable retailer with an existing and standardized interiors package in use,
the NSLC is interested in developing a design program for this store that will deliver
economic and occupant benefits meeting LEED Silver or LEED Gold requirements.
We are also interested in value engineering efforts (finishes, details and processes)
to further reduce the costs to market of the NSLC’s ‘Distinctly Maritimes’ interiors
package. While the development cycle for this project is flexible, it is expected that
construction will commence this autumn to be completed before mid March 2012 at
the latest.
