Design Professional Services - Commerce Road Improvements (Bells Road to Bellmeade Road)
The City of Richmond is seeking proposals for professional services from qualified
engineers so called FIRM(S) to provide Preliminary Engineering Services and Plans,
Right of Way Services and Plans, and Final Construction Services and Plans for
Commerce Road Widening Project in City of Richmond, between Bells Road (south
junction) and Bellmeade Road to include the design for crossing Goodes Creek -
approximately 2.0 miles. The consultant will also evaluate and design the two connector
roads (Deepwater Terminal Road to the north and Bells Road to the south) under I95
running east from Commerce up to and including proper tie into the railroad crossing
adjacent to Deepwater Terminal Road. The consultant shall coordinate designs with
Deepwater Terminal Road that is currently under separate contract being designed by
others.
