The purpose of this Synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.201, is to announce the Government's intent to issue a Task Order against contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017.  Our market research suggests that Raytheon is the sole approved source capable of providing the services detailed below.

 

It is the Government's intent to issue a Task Order under Contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017 for Depot Level Diagnostic Repair and Return (R&R) of PATRIOT Missile Weapon System Assemblies and Subassemblies of the U.S. Government. The R&R will include inspection, testing, recertification and repair of each assembly or secondary items.



This acquisition is for R&R services against items for which the Government does not possess specifications or a technical data package; therefore, the Government intends to contract only with approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (I). Approved Source(s): Raytheon Company (CAGE 05716).

 

The projected period of performance for the subject Task Order will be July 2018 through December 2022. The security clearance and safeguarding level for this task order is Secret.

 

Per DLAD 52.216-9006 (AUG 2005), Addition/Deletion of Items, the add-on procedures under this clause will be followed. There will be no separate solicitation issued for this action.

Contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017 is a nine (9) year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract providing for the support of Depot Level Repairable (DLR) and consumable spare parts as well as repair and engineering services provided by Raytheon that are associated with sole-source Raytheon manufactured system components. The contract was awarded on 28 September 2015. The period of performance includes a six (6) year base period followed by one (1), three (3) year re-determinable option period. The contract maximum ceiling is $495.6M.
