Sealed proposals endorsed "Demolition and Disposal of Residence located at 3339 Linda Circle" will be received by the City/County Purchasing Department in Room 16, City Hall Building, 101 North Main Street, Winston-Salem, N.C. until 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Instructions for submitting bids and complete specifications may be obtained by contacting Michael Sloan, City/County Purchasing Department, Room 324, City Hall Building from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday (336) 747-6929. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
Contractors will be required to comply with the provisions of the Davis Bacon Act, U.S.C. 276 Seq.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 3339 Linda Circle, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Attendance at this conference is mandatory and the City of Winston-Salem will not entertain bids from firms not in attendance at this meeting.
