The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) seeks the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) for the Design-Build – Demolition of the Carpentry Lab Portion of Building 4 at the Woodstock Job Corps Center in Woodstock, Maryland.
The work involves design and construction services for demolition of the Carpentry Shop section of Building 4 at the Woodstock Job Corps Center. The adjacent Landscaping Shop is to remain. Demolition of the Carpentry Shop will total approximately 1,540 gross square feet, followed by restoration of the impacted brick portion of the Landscaping Shop.
Period of Performance
NTP to Substantial Completion: 188 calendar days
NTP to Contract Completion: 218 calendar days

The sub evaluation factors are as follows:
1. Previous Project Experience Similar to this Project's Size and Scope (At least 3 projects within the last 5 years) Provide location and the project (City, State), the project value, and a brief and concise description of the project scope.
2. Prime Vendor’s Project Superintendent Experience of Projects of Similar Size and Scope (At least 3 projects within the last 5 years).
3. Safety
· Prime Vendor’s OSHA certification credentials.
Bid Guarantee
A 20% bid guarantee is required for this project.
Who May Respond
Interest in this solicitation announcement is open to all SDVOSB type businesses relative to the primary NAICS code 236220 with a Small Business Standard of $36.5 million. The magnitude of this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000.

Site Visit
The site visit will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 am Eastern Time.
Questions
The deadline for questions is Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Close of Business.

The deadline for submittal of offers is Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm Eastern Time.
