DEMOLISH OLD COAST GUARD EXCHANGE STORE
Major work items include: Perform Lead Based Paint Survey of interior and exterior surfaces; Obtain and analyze twenty (20) bulk samples for possible lead content; Conduct TCLP Test for Lead Paint Materials; Perform Asbestos Survey Prior to Demolition; Obtain and analyze five (5) bulk samples for possible asbestos content; Remove fiber optic telecommunication wire cabling between MSU Main Building and old Exchange Store; Pull Electrical Lines and terminate for the building; Disconnect and Cap off all utilities pertaining to building; Disconnect Fire alarm system in exchange building and terminate wire at main operator interface panel in Station Building; Demolish CG Exchange Store and dispose/removal of debris in entirety including HVAC unit and concrete pad and two communication towers to certified landfill; Removal of both towers shall be done by use of a crane-Use of explosives or any uncontrolled demolition activities of this work is prohibited; Provide backfill and topsoil, seed and mulch for all excavation and disturbed areas; Remove existing curb and provide new concrete curb; Remove and dispose of asbestos containing material in a certified landfill that accepts hazardous materials; Contractor is responsible for any associated testing (based on 10 CY of asbestos containing material).
