Demolish Existing Dining Halls
The Work includes mass demolition of Food Services Buildings, including foundations, loading docks and associated links, above and below grade, to adjacent six Residence Halls. Removal of all demolished materials shall be done in a safe and legal manner. The work also includes: site work and utility disconnection associated with the demolition of these dining halls, in addition to coordination of work to be done under separate contract or by the University's own forces. See drawings for limits of construction. The work also includes Earth Retention to protect existing utilities and shallow foundations. The work also includes all temporary fencing and barriers, selective removal of existing concrete and asphalt paving indicated, protection of trees in the area which are to remain, temporary erosion and storm water control, and provision of a temporary construction access road as shown on the drawings.
