The purpose of this amendment is to confirm that the vendors who responded to Sources Sought W52P1J19SDU that was issued 17 September 2018 still possess the capability to demil and dispose of 30mm Depleted Uranium (DU) rounds, 105mm and 120mm DU tank cartridges, including all of its components. For those vendors that previously responded, if nothing has changed since your previous submittal, please provide confirmation to the POCs listed below in paragraph #9 stating that your previous response remains unchanged and you are still interested in this possible requirement.

1. For those vendors that did not respond to Sources Sought W52P1J19SDU but have interest and the capability to supply this requirement, please review the original sources sought and provide the following information:


a. Name of company and CAGE code;
b. Point of Contacts name, telephone number and E-mail address:
c. Company address
d. Business size information;
e. Identification of whether you are interested in this opportunity as a prime or a subcontractor;
f. A brief summary of the company's capabilities (to include descriptions of facilities, equipment, skills and personnel) experience, and expertise, including knowledge of safety, security, storage, and/or environmental regulations associated with the demilitarization and disposal. Also include the proposed demilitarization site, and process;
g. Details regarding experience with similar efforts/items;
h. A Rough order of magnitude (ROM) pricing;
i. Identification of potential sources for major subcontractors if the source intends to utilize a subcontractor(s);
j. Identification of the company's capacity to store explosive materials IAW DA PAM 385-64;
k. Identification of additional equipment needed, lead time to obtain and install such equipment, and a ROM cost if additional equipment is needed to meet the aforementioned requirements.
l. Please include any assumptions made, recommendations regarding price range breaks, or any additional information you feel might be useful to the U.S. Government if it is determined to proceed with a formal Request for Proposal (RFP).


2. This sources sought amendment is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government will not reimburse any respondent for any effort or information submitted in response to this sources sought amendment. The contractor shall provide all information requested in this notification by 3:00PM Central Time on 09 October 2019 by electronic mail at no cost to the U.S. Government. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this sources sought.
