Dell Equallogic Storage Additions
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and is being conducted pursuant to FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5. The synopsis/solicitation constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 2005-74. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This RFQ is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423430, which has a corresponding size standard of 100 employees.
The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Weather Service has a requirement to procure Dell Equallogic Storage Additions.
BASIS OF AWARD
Award will be made to the responsive vendor that provides the Best Value in meeting the 1) technical requirements 2) Price.
Provide the following contract line item number (CLIN)s:
CLIN 0001- Qty 12 EA - Dell Product # USS-46PHH - 900 GByte 10K SAS Drive. Included with the above at no cost: Dell Product #USS-11725 Warranty
The drives may be refurbished or new, but must be warrantied for the period as the existing storage array (See attached Statement of Need for detailed description).
CLIN 0002 - Qty 1 EA - Dell Product #USS-2247570 - 48 x 3 Terabyte Dell EqualLogic PS6510E capacity array with 3 year warranty (See attached Statement of Need for detailed description).
