Delivery Order 0009 Deployment Kits
ARMY CONTRACTING COMMAND - WARREN (ACC-WRN) (DTA) solicitation W56HZV-16-G-0003, delivery order 0009 is to provide Deployment Kits produced by General Dynamics Land Systems in support of the Stryker Family of Vehicles. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements".
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The proposed action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract.
ACC-WRN anticipates issuing the solicitation for W56HZV-16-G-0003, Delivery Order 0009 on 14 August 2017. The forecasted due date for proposals is 14 September 2017.
This solicitation shall be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered on the System for Award Management (SAM) website. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders' mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
