Deionization Water Purification System
This work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, accessories and equipment required to install a deionized water supply system for the new UNC Charlotte Bioinformatics Center. The work includes a
central water treatment system to be located in the first floor mechanical air handling room (room 134) of the Bioinformatics Center. The water treatment system in this area shall consist of equipment to provide Type III deionized water that shall be provided to lab sinks, dishwashers, and lab bench top polishers. The selected vendor shall coordinate with the CM at-risk (Rodgers Builders) and their subcontractors that will be providing and installing polypropylene water tubing for the DI water system as well as all sinks and faucets.
