Datums GPS Unit repair and calibration
Solicitation N00421-14-T-0418 is issued as intent to Sole Source. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Norway Labs, Inc., under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The requirement is to repair and calibrate Datum's GPS Units 9390-6000-34. Norway Labs is the only known company who can perform the repair and calibration in accordance with the Navy Calibration Standards. Procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. This is a firm-fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability.
