Data management and web-based forms for University system
Import two (2) data extract files from the Banner ERP system into a stand-alone, operational database that supports create/read/update/(soft) delete processes. These extract files contain basic information about students (demographic) and the courses they take each semester (course, level, grade, etc.) There are approximately fifty (50) columns in each file, with a number of repeating columns (requiring normalization) such as multiple ethnicities and multiple pre-requisites for a particular class.
A web-forms based application to manage the Create, Read, Update, Delete (CRUD) functions. This includes various filters and search criteria to search for a records or groups of records (e.g. search based on student name, term, course, etc.) The forms also include a flexible, free-form comment area to store reasons for the changes to records.
