Data collection/management infrastructure, services and support for a national multi-site research study
The project requires the provision of an application for secure data instrument delivery, Electronic Data Capture (EDC) on PCs and mobile devices and the secure transmission, manipulation and storage of those data. Data must be easily exported from the application/databases in common formats and data structures for use in standard statistical and research tools. It is anticipated that the application will be web based or a hybrid desktop/web application with the ability for the application to fall back to local storage when there is no connectivity. In addition to the software application, hardware and software infrastructure will be needed to support the delivery and use of the application in five cities across Canada and the centralized data warehousing within Canada.
