Data Masking Solution
Fiscal Service supports the needs of multiple Department of Treasury Bureaus and is in need of improvements through modernizing and standardizing on how it uses production data for enterprise systems testing. Through this initiative, Fiscal Service is seeking information concerning a Data Sanitization/Masking solution. This solution will need to meet the needs of the enterprise and will improve Fiscal Service's user acceptance and integration testing by continuing to provide "real" functional data, while reducing risks that undermine the security posture of the organization A mature Fiscal Service data sanitization capability opens the door to future initiatives that look to leverage the use of sanitized production data in cloud solution IT infrastructures.
There are two primary objectives for this request for information; responses to the RFI should address both objectives:
• Identify solutions that meet Fiscal Service's requirements
• Identify the supporting architecture/infrastructure requirements
