Request for Proposal: The Department of Transportation is seeking sponsors for two of the States most publicly recognized programs the Illinois Department of Transportation State Highway Map and the Wildflower Program. Sponsorship of these two programs offer Vendors extensive exposure through direct advertising, special events, and statewide publicity to more than 12 million citizens of Illinois, and 84.9 million annual visitors. The extensive sponsorship benefits are detailed in section 4.2. Sponsorship contributions will be used to help pay for the printing costs of the map and the materials and labor expenses for beautification sites. This offer of sponsorship for the Illinois Wildflower Program is not exclusive and sponsorships for sites in that program may also be solicited through other means.
